Ipswich.

Double click the icon to open the program. You should see something like
this

INFORMATION |
Enter your site information as you received it in the welcome letter. Click
Finish.
NOTE:
1. Do not put the http:// in front of the name of your site.

|
STEP 4 - SELECT YOUR SITE |
You should now see this. Notice mysite.com is
highlighted on the right hand side.

|
STEP 5 - ENTERING YOUR
USERNAME AND PASSWORD |
OK, here comes the part where most newbie's have difficulty. Read this part
carefully.

Enter your password in the password box.
-
Check the Save Password box.
-
Check the Passive Mode box.
-
Click Save.
-
Click Advanced Properties (See next step).
|
STEP 6 - SETTING THE ADVANCED
PROPERTIES |
- Click the Startup tab and enter the Remote Site Folder
as /public_html/
- Click OK.
- Click Connect.

|
STEP 7 - CONNECT TO YOUR SITE |
If you did everything right, you should see something like this:

-
The files/folders on the left hand side are the
files/folders on your PC.
-
The files/folders on the right hand side are the
files/folders on your Website.
-
Use the -> and
<- buttons in the center to transfer files
to or from your site by single clicking on the file in the
window and then clicking either -> (from
PCto server) or <- (from server to PC).
-
IMPORTANT NOTES:
-
On your Website, you must put all files in the
html for Ensim Control Panels and public_html for Cpanel.
-
You can make more folders from there but they must be in the
html or public_html folders.
-
cgi programs are uploaded to the cgi-bin folder. You can
also great sub-folders here.
-
cgi programs (with the file
extension of .pl, .pm, .cgi) must be uploaded in ASCII (DO NOT USE AUTO) mode or they will
not work. (In fact, most files can be uploaded in ASCII
excepting for binary files eg. programs, zip files, images).
